Joanna Bair

About Joanna
Joanna Bair graduated from Eastern Nazarene College with a B.A. in English and Theatre. She also has an MFA in Creative Writing from Concordia University. She wrote and produced the plays The Redemption of Ruth, The Snow Queen, and For Such a Time as This in Connecticut and on the island of Malta.
Joanna has an extensive résumé in theatre, dance, and costuming. From the Off-Broadway production Children’s Letters to God to choreographing high school musicals to Regional Shakespeare productions to running her own performing arts center in Connecticut she has taught all styles of dance and acting.
Joanna closed her performing arts center to live in Malta where she taught dance and drama classes. In her free time overseas, she rekindled her love for writing.
Joanna has had flash fiction published in Splickety, Spark, Keys for Kids, and won a local short story contest. She’s had her short stories Expired Sicilian, California Trail, and Calla’s Secret Inheritance, published in Zimbell House Anthologies and The Whitstead Christmastide and Harvestide anthologies. She’s written a couple of novels, but none have been published.
Joanna has a blog which followed her crazy journey of trusting God all over Europe for two years. Beginning with the Malta café ministry, churches, lives, deaths, and a detour due to visas that took her to the UK to volunteer with refugees. She is most active on Bookstagram and Facebook.
Joanna loves sharing her enthusiasm for theatre, dance, books, travel, and God with anyone who will listen. A Connecticut native, she is currently based in Florida.
